Bless the Blue

After hours of continuous work, my entry is finally done.

This time around for my contest entry, I decided to go for something simple yet complex, so I chose a SAI technique i used to do for the eyes on my characters when I used bases. I messed around with the texture, then the effect, then I just filled in and erase. The I did it again for the edge, just a different texture. Also I wanted to do a little something different with the Hooligan logo so I hollowed out the two O's and the L and colored them gray to make them stand out. But that's not the only reason. I know a lot of you are wondering why I chose blue for this pic. Well the answer is, I work fantastic with blue, but that's not all. Looking at one of their album coverings, I noticed that it had a lot of different shades of blue and gray so I decided to do that too, just with a Haru twist.
